    Arrow VC/R Mods

Hi I Own a Vc Commodore With A VR Buick Engine in it. It has 2.5 inch Custom Mendrel Bent exhaust, Punched out and welded cat, Offset straight through resonator and a hotdog. VS Supercharged Six CAI, Performance ignition Leads, upgraded memcal mapping, and was rebuilt last year with only 2 months of running. Just wondering what other performance modifications i could do to boost power and torque. It HAS to remain NATURALLY ASPIRATED for Licensing reasons, All Other mods that i have done that are illegal are hard to recognise unless you know what to look at, but a super or turbo charger would be an infringement as soon as the pigs look under the hood. So what can i do?

The catalytic converter wont make a difference to power unless its blocked. And knocking the middle out of it makes the car run worse, not better.

This has the answer to all your questions - http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/search.php

Or, if you had looked a little harder at the top of the VR/VS section - Buick and Ecotec V6 Performance Upgrades

    Also, get a cat.

EDIT: I would also be careful about calling police "pigs" here.

It Have already checked that thread and was just wondering if there was anything else i could do. It has a cat. and why shouldnt i refer them to as pigs? its just an colloquilism.

If you have seen that thread already, use the search button, because the "how can i get more performance" question has been asked billions of times.

No it doesn't have a cat, it has a straight through piece of pipe. OK, let me rephrase that, get a cat that works.

Colloquialism or not, they are doing their jobs, and it is a perjorative colloquialism at that. There are members here that are police officers and stuff like that is just not needed.

Apart from that being that there are 3 actual police officers who are members of this forum and are quite regular forum posters. See the "ask the copper" thread, that's one of the officer members.

This isnt street commodores here mate, nobody takes kindly to people who advocate punching out cats. Not only does it do sweet fu*k all for performance OR sound, if you run into one of those defect coppers who happen to have an infra red thermometer and they point it at your cat and find it under 300 degrees, you're screwed. It's not a slap on the wrist penalty.
