my car wants to stall when i first start it it knid of feels like there is no petrol it does it when i start it when its hot or when i put it in reverse might need a tune

Hi mate I don't go near any car that isn't running properly unless it's modifications that are the cause of the dodgy running. These cars are self tuning and I allways ask people to fix the problems before I have anything to do with itotherwise it's just sticking a bandaid on a sinking ship

OP Might be to do with you air control unit (ACU)?, always forget the proper name for it. Does the car run ok when you push the gas pedal? but then almost stalls when you let go?

its only really started doing it after i put the exhaust in checked error codes on the scat tool and nothing came up fuel pump ok injectors ok acu ok fuel reg fine fuel pressure fine everything semms to be working fine someone just mentioned that it might need a tune

Check for any set error codes.It will flash code 12 three times ,and then any error codes(if any are set)Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)
i already did that on the scat tool the full computer thingy magig and there was no stored codes in history or at that current time it did it again today when i was driving it out my garage

Can you leave the scanner pluged in and go for drive and see if it happens again?

What sort of scanner is it.If its one of those cheap ebay ones,half of em dont work properly, and sometimes wont show if any codes are set.A mate brought one a few weeks ago,no errors showing up on the scanner,but errors were showing with the engine light test.apparently it was OBD11 onwards only.No good on a VR/VS.The people that sold it to him told him it would work on VR and later commodores.

its one of those real expensive ones i use at my cousins business prestige autos in preston and it seems alright the problem is giving me the shits its also lacking a bit of power could it be faulty injectors or would it show up on the error codes
Dirty injectors will make it loose power and run like s--t, it wont show up in a diagnostic scan.
