Sports steering wheel/Boss kit?

Hey guys,
I got a Calibre sports steering wheel and Calibre boss kit (CALBK163Bl) from super cheap auto for christmas and i went to put the boss kit on today and the brass horn button that touches the contactor on the boss is about 1cm away from the contactor, it feels like the boss is on all the way so how do i make it so that my horn will still work? Im sure and the person at super cheap that its the right boss kit but i could be wrong.

Ive looked around the forum but cant seem to find anything on boss kit installs but if anyone can help me it would be muchly appreciated

I have the same problem so it is obviously not an installation problem but a boss kit problem. Maybe there is a better boss kit to buy ?

Hey mate,
rang and spoke to a guy at supercheap and he rang saas and he reckons that there all the same for the vr's and that my steering colum has calapsed which is a load of bull****. So i might try again and see if there's any way I can get the horn to work.

If anyone has had this problem or used a different boss kit then saas and calibre could you tell me what brand it was and if the horn works please

your first mistake was goin to supercheap lol, i got mine a while ago from auto1 and i think its boss motorsport or something and the part number is B899B.

Yeh that'd be awesome if you can let me know I'll have to try mine again just been a bit busy at the moment.

Ohk yeh, would normally by a better one but thought I might try it cause the steering wheel I got looks Pretty cool. But I'll look into it mate, thanks for the reply.
