hey guys when i go around corners i hear a clunk in the rear end plus my rear left inner tyre is bold now i have had a look and i think its my sway bar rubbers.is this an easy fix? if you guys think it could be anything else would be much appreciated.
cheers mark
Have a good look at all the bushes on the control arms(upper and lower).lever them with a long screwdriver and see if theres any movement in them. And also check the sway bar bushes. If they look old and cracked and out of shape then they need replacing.I use nolothane type bushes instead of the rubber ones. They last heaps longer and they give good road feel back through to the driver.
yeah mate i have checked all bushes and they move etc when i move car from side to side...is it easy to replace but what i can see it seems pritty straight forward.
worn out upper control arms on VN-VS commies is a common problem and pairs with new bushes can be bought quite cheaply on ebay.

When you replace them "only do one side at a time because" if you undo both together the diff/axle will move out of place and it will be difficult to refit the bolts back in.
