ve gts rim fitment

hey all just afta some info for a mate he wants to put some ve gts rims on his vr will they fit ...?they are 20x8z not sure off tyre size yet or offset they are machined for pre ve!!!!!

no, VE rims will not fit a VR without modifying the car

Yeah the VE ones wont fit but there are VE rims made just to fit the early models seen them on ebay

yea there copies and it does say pre ve so is it vt on wards then??????

From what Ive been told the hub is different on the VE and the wheels need to be machined out by about 3mm to clear the earlier hubs. If they are copies they should be made with this in mind and will fit anything from VL (I think?) onwards.

Yeah they need 3MM machining (should only be 20$ish per wheel at a wheel shop) to fit a VR / VS

arent the stud holes larger in diameter than pre ve??

im going buy what i saw on a eBay item (VE GTS rims) saying the jsut need to be machined 3mm to fit the hub (i have 2x of the 20" VE GTS rims im thinking about putting on the front of my VR
