Hey guys i have a 1993 VR COMMODORE and recently i bought a new small heater hose for, i think runs from the water pump to inside the block , the connection that runs into the block has snapped off with the remaining piece of this connection on the end of the old hose . it over heats the car due to the busted connection , any idea of how much it is to to be repaired at all??

If you bypass the heater, the heater core under the dash will rust away in no time. And replacing it means taking the whole dash out.$$$.You would be better off getting it fixed properly.Thats if you ever want to use your heater, and jeez its a pain in the ... when its raining and the windscreen fogs up when theres no heater.
how much do u think it would it would cost roughly to replace this connection?
Mate I do my own work,so Ive no idea what it will cost.Just get a couple of quotes from different places before you choose where to take it.It shouldnt be a great deal from what you've said,it just depends on how much time they have to spend fixing it.Let us know how you get on with it.
yeah no worries , i'll keep you posted
