this question has probably been asked a million times but i wanna ask people who actaually have them and what they have found... im thinking of putting 3.5 gears in the VR stato. 5ltr Auto and i do drive around the city and alot of highway.. im not real fussy about fuel consumption just dont want the barge to sit on high rpms. my math is also real crap.. are these gear changes hard to do??? anyone attempted it themselfs??

The gears you'll be after are 3.45:1, never heard of 3.5s for holden.

I used to have these in my international, was a good jump from the 3.08s, but like the 3.73s i have now. Fuel consumption isn't an issue for me as i have a 6 speed.

When diff ratios are changed do they have a tendency to whine? Mine whines a fair bit, but there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with it at all, has since i bought it.
