hi i got a vs commodore with a solid diff and i got 19's 245 on it and it's srubing pretty bad. I already have a adjutable panhard rod and it's been lowerd 3in on the back any ideas or can i put a vl turbo diff in it for clearence.
thanks steve
I once fitted a lsd out of a VN into a VS and it was narrower,it looked stupid with chaser rims fitted .Someone suggested the diff might have came from a VL to begin with, but Im not sure, you couldn't notice it on the VN ,It looked normal width, so maybe they are wider on the VR/VS and you can just use a vn one .I know they bolt up ok.Everything is the same.

A VL diff will fit but is narrower than your VS one by approx 40mm... You could go from having rubbing issues on the outer lip of the guard to having them rub on the inner guard if you fit a VL diff.
I have got 245/19's on mine and they dont rub at all.. mine is on pedders ultra low and i have rolled the guards to clear.
If you dont have your guards rolled get them done and it should fix your problem (thats if its rubbing on the outer lip of the guard)
yer i think got sommething to do with the offset i got gmax eagles with a inch and abit of dish and i think that wat causing the srubing problems
