where does the breather hose on my auto go?ive looked everwhere please help

i have a vr v8 and have looked everywhere for where to put the breather hose off the auto the hose on the top of the auto it looks like you push another hose over the end of the bit of hose thats on my auto but i cant find that other hose where does the other hose normally come from to plug onto the auto...ive got a code that means vac leak looked everywhere for it no room under there to see much so im hoping for some direction from someone

Whats the actual code? There is no vacuum input to the trans.

If it is the same as the VS V6s, it pokes into a hole on the inner face of the right hand subframe rail. From memory, around about in line with the front of the box or thereabouts.

It doesn't p[lug into anything - the end must be kept open otherwise it cannot 'breathe'
Check the vacuum hoses to the charcoal canister .....they can get dislodged.
