what to do
ive been thinking about buying a rebuilt vr v6 3.8 engine but would ii be better off just dropping a v8 in it if so what would it all cost for the engine & auto ecu,wiring loom and installation??????????

You'll need at least a donor car that has everything in it the v8 the loom etc (just buy a smashed up one which is undamaged in the engine area), you'll need bigger brakes and a hole bunch of other things that i cannot remember. Do a search as this has been covered quite a bit, but to be honest just buy a car that has a v8 in it already. Or if money is an issue then just put a rebuilt v6 in it.
$2000 should see you with everything you need to do the conversion. Ive done one before V6 to V8. Well worth it. Brakes are the same V6 and V8 altho the V8's have a bigger brake booster.
As said already easiest way is to buy a smashed V8 then u will have everything your going to need.
You will need the V8 tail shaft to as its slightly shorter than the V6 one.
