My car died while i was driving it not sure if its the trans will this stop the car from starting again it will turn over but just?

Check for error codes first. You've double-posted which makes things a bit difficult to answer.

you might get more answers later today when people are home from work etc rather than posting a new thread every 30 minutes , but no your trans wont stop the car from starting if its in park or nuetral.
sounds like a battery/alternator problem too me.
