I have a vs caprice, Iam having trouble with the air vents, it blows out the vents, but when I brake too hard or have low rev's going up hills, it stops coming out of the face vents & will only come out the floor. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a vacuum fault - I'm not real familiar with the climate control but one thing I would check is the vacuum ball under the front of the passenger side mudguard - it's a round plastic ball that holds vacuum in reserve so that your problem does not occur - sometimes they can get damaged.

Most likely problem is a the vacuum solenoid block - Try a search on the forum, there are quite a few threads. A new one will cost somewhere between $100-$130. See the post from surfwagon in particular (VS Climate Control Diagonostic) as there is a picture of it.

It could also be a one way valve in the vacuum line (it is a little black and white valve the sits in the vacuum line above the rear of the engine).

That`s the part you have to replace.
I replaced mine all good.
