Hey guys, need some advice..
I am looking at buying a vr and I am told that it has a bent steering shaft. How would this happen without the car being in a crash? Is it a big job to fix?
Thanks
prob more like a bent rod which should only be $60 a rod, better off letting a suspension place replace it as it would need a wheel alignment afterwards.
Might be a bent tie-rod end ??
Easy to replace or straighten and as mentioned above, a wheel alignment will be required.
Tell the seller to fix it or try and get some $$$ off the price.
There is a place on Ebay that has rackends/boots and tie rod ends - the lot for $55! That would replace both sides. Never seen them that cheap.
