Reverse lights not working?

Worked out recently my reverse light dont work. Globes are good,fuse is good. The car was not moved for over 2 months so maybe that did something. Can any1 give me some ideas on where to check next before i take to to the auto electric's

The reverse switch on the "t" bar. Start with that.

hmm,1 problem,its a manual. Maybe the switch on the gearbox is rooted

Check the wiring that goes to the gearbox.It might just be unplugged or it might be broken.And check the reverse light bulbs.If you find nothing,then test the reverse light switch with a multimeter.

I was hoping that i wouldnt have to get under the car but looks like its my last option. Thanks for the input

unplug the switch and earth the connection with a safety pin or something, if the lights work the switch is buggered.
