    How do you remove and install a fuel pump on a VS?

    Same as VR ?... guess so!
    It is internal. Disconnnect the fuel line near the tail shaft, undo the six 7 ml nuts and slowly twist out the pump, it has angles to get to the bottom of the tank. undo the return line. DON'T SPLIT OR PULL TO HARD ON IT OR YOUR STUFFED. Connect the new pump to the return and reverse the procedure. Replace the filter as well. Undoing the pump at the tank is the only way to drain the petrol as well, as you undu the bolts.... fuel will start to come out, have a wide container to catch the fuel.

    While you are there replace all the breather hoses some could be cracked I got them first to be on the safe side and a couple were brittle so done the lot. Be a shame if you have to drop tank again in a couple of months.
