vs 5liter

hey was wondering what would be the best thing to do rebuild my motor or shop around for a 5liter and how much would i be looking at for a good motor and whats involed for a rebuild

Mate it depends how good you are with the spanners.If you are not very confident with stuff like that,just get a reconditioned one.Its a hell of a lot easier.

Well just before I bought my VR 5L the whole motor was rebuilt (top and bottom end) and a few extras were put in Cam etc and the previous owner spent just over $7000 on the motor so I would say if you dont want to spend that sort of money to get a reconditioned one.
