    Angry VS problems

My VS has started to run rough so I've checked the codes and got 14-Coolant temp sender low voltage. I reset the codes and now it only shows 12 but is still running like a POS.

Should I go by the code I did get and replace the sender or could it be something else?

    Cheers.

If it is say the temp sensor, then perhaps you should get another one.

I'd go with James39's advice and also check the wiring to the sensor. Maybe first do a 1/2 hour run to warm the engine to see if the fault comes back - usually you may get a code for a rich/weak mixture from the O2 sensors if the coolant sensor was giving incorrect info....also may increased fuel consumption.

I ran it up to op. temp. today and it's running ok now. No codes other than 12 come up so I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the replies.

Not a bad site this, I might stick around. Some nice members cars on here.
