    Question changing auto box

    i'll be changing auto boxes in the next couple of days
    and was wondering if there is a gasket between the box and engine??
    apart from oil is there any other bits i'll need?

    No there's no gasket between them mate I would service the auto your putting in the car you can get a service kit for super cheap ect for around $20 it has a new filter and sump gasket it ezyer to do this out of the car then just put your dexlll in when the auto is in be very carefull of the cooler lines that come from the pump they are a really pain to get off with out twisting the cooler line hope this helps

    its all easy apart from those bloody oil lines, they are buggers, i dont take the tourque converter off though, i have a spare one, line the splines on the tourque converter horizontal and then get my spare one, insert that into the gearbox and turn until splines are horizontal and wolla, you dont need to undo your belhouse
    Vs eco 3.8, extractors, 2.75" exhaust, roller rockers, cammed, bored out 20, t5 manual, rolling on king springs all way round with monroe gt shocks all way round, every door has a ding but looks can be very deceaving
