Hissing sound in ute behind drivers seat?

Hello, I have a VR ute and when i run it there is a hissing sound coming from behind the drivers seat in the corner below the rear windscreen. I am thinking its the fuel pump but am not too sure. ive checked all the fuel hose/breather lines and their fine. It makes the sound weather the tank is full or not.

Any help as to what is making the sound and how to fix it would be great as it is really annoying when driving.

that would be your fuel pump mate mine does it they all do its just that its closer to you than in a sedan so you notice it more

its more of a high pitched hum than a hiss, but still very likely to just be normal fuel pump operation. Crank the stereo and ignore it.

You're fuel pump is most likely on the way out. Mine did the same thing until it died and after fitting new pump the noise disappeared completely.
