Just looking for a straight answer to this one, thanks!
Bought a VS berlina rolling shell, minus running gear and a few interior bits.
NOW... the previous owner took the BCM and the key head off the key. I have a spare VS berlina BCM at home from a wrecked car, is it as simple as programming a new key head to the BCM i have and plugging in and off i go??
I have no idea about this stuff so please help me if you can
Thanks

You will need the BCM code programmed into a new keyhead.Holden can usually get this code online through your VIN number,I dont know how it works if you have changed your BCM because it wont match your VIN any more.Unless Holden can change the BCM code to match your VIN,then program the key as well.
you need the vin number off the orignal bcm's vehicle, unless you have the key for that bcm or know the origan of the bcm (orignal vehicle) you mayas well use it as a door stop
Go and have a talk to either Holden or if you have a mister mint near you. When you get a Keyhead from Mr Mint they only put a generic programme in the keyhead, you then go through a process after putting it in your ignition and the BCM upgrades the keyhead. They need your Model and Year for this.
