exterior chrome (strips along side/windows)

where can I get new ones? How to I replace them?
or how to do I restore my current ones.

recently badged my VR and took the hideous, faded black holden badges off it and all the badges off the back, put nice shiny VS badges on the front and rear, next thing i'd like to do is get the chrome looking better.
