Question Power windows in Vr Executive?

Hey Guys, I recently bought the power window regulators, all switches, each doors wiring loom and door trims for my vr executive. I read a few posts on here to try and figure out what else i need and i am still a bit confused. I checked to see if my car has the wiring for the power windows and i found that i have the power window looms in the front doors but not the back and that i dont have the main window dash loom. So far i think i need the main window dash loom (Is this its own loom or part of another? and where does it all go to?) and im not sure but i think i am going to have to buy a mid level bcm and matching key head so i can have all 4 power windows (correct me if im wrong but i think the low bcm which is in my car controls front power windows only and the mid control all 4 power windows?). If i do need the mid level bcm is there anything else i would have to do to get it all working? sorry if someone has gone over this before but i searched and searched and am stuck on these few things. if anyone can help me out that would be awesome.
    Thanks guys

There is a great "how-to" in that section on this subject by hdt_aero and I've copied it below for your convenience. Not sure if it mention which BCM but I remember seeing a diagram which showed what each BCM was capable of and I think you are correct. Anyways, have a look at this article as it will provide just about all you need. Good Luck.

I've never done this conversion so everything I know about it is secondhand......the loom you really need is located under the radio and accessed by pulling the centre console...if it's not there you are needing to do a lot of work (from what I've read). I don't think you specifically need a VN Calais BCM....you need a mid series VR BCM. The "how-to" was written for VN.
This has been covered many times before.....so I'd vary my search engine questions and spend a few hours doing that - it will save you heaps of hassles.

Righto mate, yeh had a look for that main loom and im almost certain i dont have it but ill have another look. That VN calais module there talking about isn't a BCM it just a module that the VN's and VP's used (might be just VN's) that controls the power windows. But yeh im pretty sure i now what i need to do now so thanks alot for ya help mate
