    Default Ecotec valve adjustment?

    Ok so i need to do a valve adjustment on my vs ecotec... But I don't know any figures or timing s@#t like that.

    Anyone able to help? Would be greatly appreciated

    Hey Mate. Both the V6 & V8 Engines use hydraulic lifters and the valves clearances are not adjustable. This is what the Manual says.

    The valve clearance is not adjustable. If it ticks it could be a sticky lifter or it could be stuffed. A worn timing chain tensioner can sound like lifters too.
