Default Few Questions bout VR wagon

Hey guys, just a few quick questions,

First, my mate has a vr wagon, and we are thinkin of puttin the rear seats out of my vs acclaim in it.....coz mine has the seat that fold down in two, his only folds down as one, will the support for it be different? There is like a steel plate behind his seat at the moment, i assume for suport. But could it be done? (hope that makes a little sense)

Also on the same car, he has lowered it on super lows and has his ajustable panhard rod in, its been aligned and setup right, but when he has a full lod it still rubs inside the left hand gaurd. We felt up in the gaurd and for some strange reason, instead of it being flat all the way round, they decided to add another ridge sorta thing in it and the tyre hits it and its nearly destroyed his tyre. Would it be better to get the panhard rod adjusted while loaded, or can you get that ridge thing rolled out, so its smooth? Once again i hope you understand me.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It would most likely need adjusting while its loaded up.That way they can adjust the panhard rod to pull the diff across far enough so the tyre wont rub on the guard. You can flattern out the ridge under the guard.Best to get someone who has done it before if you dont want the guard ruined.

The seat i cant be sure about, all i can say is it is the same body as the vr, they just slapped on a silver badge really. The engine is even the same, except for the v6 which was the ecotec, Sooo i would think the mount points will be there, but its only an assumption. And yes you can get the panhard adjust to suit but you can also roll the gaurd. I would go the panhard rod first since you got it.

For the interior, the seats can be modded to fit, but they aren't a direct bolt in.

Just get VS seats, as they have a different split for the wagons, or go one better and try and find Acclain or berlina seats, still have a 60/40 split, but also have headrests

thanks guys, now, when you speak of rolling the gaurd, is that just the lip in the gaurd, or the indide of it? Coz the ridge i speak of is up inside the gaurd. Bout 3-4 inchs above the bottom of the gaurd.

What problems will i have with the seats, im puttin vn calais seats into my vs acclaim so he is prob gettin mine, is it hard to fit?

You can pick up factory wagon seats pretty cheap, so i wouldn't bother. Pretty sure theres a few how to's on modding the seats tho
