Hi all, I'm new around here but I've had a few commos before.
I've just bought a VSII wagon and I want to have it converted to dual fuel. Now I dont want one of those big cylinder tanks going across the back seat, because then I loose the ability to put long things in the back like a plank of wood or a diff etc.
I spoke to an LPG guy who recommended a donut tank but then told me that the spare has to be mounted to the side inside the boot, which is what I originally thought of doing. Then he told me about a thinner square tank that can go on the side so the spare can stay under the carpet. He was leaning me towards this idea but I dont know if he is just telling me what I want to hear.
What have you guys done and would you have done it differently? Are these thinner square tanks any good? If possible can you guys post up some pics of what it looks like so I can see how much space is actually lost.
Also recommendations for good LPG places in Adelaide?
Thanks.
never heard of a flat square tank, might be worth lookin at. I have heard of the dohnut tank, but like you say the wheel has to come out then. Its a bit of an issue with wagons and gas as far as boot space cause no matter what you do, you lose space and negates the whole point of a wagon. I personally dont like duel fuel, i have read to many problomatic issues with tuning an backfiring and then the fuel not working ect.... But that cant be everyones story otherwise no one would do it.
