Angry VS11 auto trans flaring and sliping

my series 2 vs v6 auto ,dosnt seem to want to reverse or drive forward when cold (bit like a sliping clutch on a manual) trans level is perfect, and oil is clean and not burnt. also takes a long time to shift into 2nd/3rd and 4th, is almost like there is not enough oil pressure, but once engine and trans are warm there is no problem, there is a fault code 24 which is speed sensor, and i have replaced it last week and deleted the code and i still have the same problem, am just wondering if any one has had the same issue as i am having or kno a fix,

Have it checked at a trans shop, but to me sounds like its just about shagged. If so, thin if you plan on keeping the car it maybe worth rebuilding it, otherwise a cheap ebay one might get you out of trouble to get it moving.

yea i'm a mechanic myself, it just all of a sudden happend, have been told that it is possible that the filter can fall out, but before i go tearing it to bits i just wanted to know if this problem has happend to anyone before and if they have been able to fix it, if not i'm taking 3 weeks off work to have a good look at it, cheers guys
