Flexplate bolts (torque)

Can someone please check there v6 workshop manual and tell me how much i need to torque my VR flexplate bolts, they are genuine GM and surprise no instructions or info with them. Also got a oldschool torque wrench so does anyone know how to convert Nm into foot/punds or metres/kilos. Thanxs

18 to 22 NM, or 13-16 foot pounds.Thats the first stage.Then for the second stage tighten them a further 70 degrees.(just under a quarter of a turn).

it probably wouldnt hurt to put some loctite on the bolts.
from memory to convert NM into ft/pound the formula is multiply the NM by 0.7376
to go the other way ( ft/pound to NM ) its multiply by 1.3558
