flat spot when turning corners

so ive just replaced my fuel pump in my VS 5L and since that being done, when I go around corners and give it some revs it just cuts out until the revs drop down again... like its getting no fuel for some reason. If anyone has any idea what could be causing this, please let me know. I'm stumped, your opinions are much appreciated.

5L's don't have a CAS. they have a hall effect sensor in the dizzy instead

Was the return line inside the tank reconnected when the new pump was installed?This line can cause these sorts of fuel pickup problems when the hose comes off from either the swirl pot inside the tank or at the pump end.

brett is right on the money crewsy. happened to me and that is it!!!!

the actual swirl pot assembly came loose inside the tank when i went to install the new fuel pump, i made sure the return line was on. it went up to the auto elecs and they pulled the tank out/cleaned it and put it back together... they must have forgotten to put the return line back on or something...

nah ever since I got it back from them its had the flat spot, so im thinking they forgot to put the return line on or something....
