Default Lowerin issues with HSV VR

I spent about 600 hundy bucks on a set of shocks and springs to put in my car only to find that the rear just doesnt want to go down.
Have talked to a few 'experts' and they all seem to point to the same answer.
Supossably, the hsv vrs are quite common to have such problems and they cant seem to give me any suggestions on what to. I dont want to end having wasted all this money on something i didnt need to.
    GRRR!
    Any suggestions??

Default Lumpy cams in VR? Worth the money?

Have been debating on whether to spend a few grandys on gettin some lumpy cams in the beast or if its just not really worth it. Everyone I have spoken to has a different opinion. Some say if I was to do so I will end up forever fixing other problems with the engine because i have f****d with the cams.
Is it worth the hassel or should I just use the money to upgrade to a different car???
They just sound so awesome and Iv always wanted to do it, now is just my chance in whether or not I go through with it or not.

Pretty sure the senators have self leveling suspention, u have to take the link between the diff n control mech for the leveling.

What springs n shocks have you put in?

yep the vr senators have self levelling rear shocks using air and a compressor.

im not sure if you can disable the compressor or not, but another option is to get shocks to suit which dont utilise the leveling.

you just take the fuse out.

umm ive never really had a problem with my hsv. unless your shocks are senator type. but if they are just disconnect the lines and she should sit down with no worries.
