    Default transmission question

    i recently heard that vs v8 auto dont have a kick down cable because i know this guy whos swapping his getrag 5spd for a v8 auto box.
    ive got t700 sitting there but its for a vs is it possible to put a kick down on it?
    is it impossible
    is it expensive
    is it cheaper to get a second hand box

    They don't have a kick down cable as VR onwards are electronically controlled by the ECU. Don't know if it's possible to put a kick down cable onto them but I imagine it wouldn't be easy if it is possible. Personally I'd just be getting myself another box

    no its not possible and the VR-VS 4L60E dont need a kick down cable as the kick down is electronically controlled by the ecu.

    he needs a 4L60 transmission from a VN-VP then, your 4L60E wont work unless he changes the loom and computer
