Looking to get one very soon, just little confused. Seen the large intake and the duct that goes into the bottom of the air box up on ebay.

Can i cut the bottom of theair box myself or is it worth just buying a precut box to suit this intake??

You can cut the bottom of the box yourself.

But before getting this type of CAI, read this thread first.

The CAI off the supercharged v6's are great, there is no need to buy thet bottom half of the air box though its very easy to do yourself, takes 10minutes at most.

Just go to a Holden dealership and order the Supercharged V6 air intake. It costs roughly 65 bucks for the mouth and the piping of the intake.
It looks a lot better than the one off ebay you provided.

when you say holden dealership does that mean just a holden car yard?? im located in quiins rocks perth wa.

Pretty much. It's basically a Holden car yard with Holden spare parts and such. They just specify in Holden.
