    Default trans slipping in top gears

    fluid level seems ok but not sure if im getting a good reading. would it be to much or to little fluid.

    not to hijakc the thread but im running a vr motor in my vn and lately ive been havin trouble with my trans... most times takes a while to change out of first and doesnt have any poke... alot of slipping... fresh and topped up fluid... motor is A1

    hey m8 my VN trans was doing that it terned out to be my kick back cable. the VS dont seem to have a kick cable, i only seem to have accelrator and cruise control cables let me know if ya know any different

    Are you sure the car hasn't logged an error code and is running in "limp home mode".....this makes the car feel as though it's driven by an elastic band. Check for fault codes.
