G'day guys, long time reader, short term member, just joined before infact, good to be part of the community.

I had my friend crash my VR the other week into a WRX being a bloody idiot around a corner when i leant him the car, and the cost to get it repair exceeds the value of the car, apparently (according to two different mechanics), so i've gone out and bought a new one.

So im left with this one, and i'm wanting to salvage some parts, one of which being the exhaust.

I've left headers alone for now, just doing the eas(ier) stuff today, and so far the cat came off, and im de-constructing it in parts with what i have available to me, which isn't a lot.

My problem is that as the exhaust comes up and over the rear left side of the diff and axle and back over towards the tip, it's connected by 4 nuts. Evidently (see pictures) they are rusted to hell, and because the thread is long coming out of the nut-head, i can't really used a wrench as they dont reach over the thread and onto the nut, so i went to use spanners and shifters, but all it does is slip.

I'm only working under the car jacked up completely on the left side, and still (given that it's lowered) it's a pretty difficult working environment, is there anything you guys can suggest to get these buggers off so i can completely take off the rest of the exhaust?

Thanks in advance
