widest tyre on a vr
does anyone know what is the widest 16inch tyre that will fit under the rear of an non irs vr commodore with rolled guards?i ask becausei m looking at getting rid of my17 inch clubsport rims, and getting some 16 inch weld racing wheels and want the fattest tyre possible. thanks python

245 is probably the widest you could safely go under the rear but 255 might squeeze in. You cant really tell without at least measuring or trying to fit one.

get some killer offset and you could prob run 285's with some strechthats what we do with the z20's, just roll the guards, get some 11" wheels and strech the shit outta the tyres

thats pretty pointless.... might aswell get a skinnier wheel and put the same tyres on it. that and it looks shit with the tyre so stretched.
@ OP, my vs has 265/35/18's on it now, you should be able to get 245/16s on quite easily, and more probably.
