93 vr constant stalling, fuel pump, injectors, oil and filter, O2 sensor, no vacuum leaks, IAC motor changed. What can it be? Sometimes only happens when just started and go to break and it downshifts and it feels like it is going to stall. Other times works absolutley fine.
Also hard starting if warm. CAM sensor changed as well
Have you tried a swap of the DFM and coils?
Other than that, this sounds a loose wire or some vibration related issue in a plug - corroded pins, wires shorting?
Just a thought -
How about the Knock Sensor? A lot of engine noise will trigger the ECU to kill the fuel momentarily!
hey mate i would put my money on the crank angle senor thats causes you car to stall and play up it's about $60 and is behind the balancer
either crank angle sensor or maybe map sensor.
Throttle Position Sensor.
+1 on TPS. If it downshifts in gears, its a sign it thinks the throttle is more open than it is, also why it thinks its getting more air but isnt, and it stalls because of this. Replace the sensor before you waste money on anything else.
base idle setting to low ??? has the idle screw been played with ??? checked your fuel pressure reg for fuel in the vacum line ???
Crank angle sensor is my bet.
TPS, knock sensors etc usually just log a code.
+2 For the TPS, Just replaced mine today, fixed the problem. $85 genuine from holden.
Edit: Will show up Code 19 if it's playing up.
