No power

Hi i posted previously in another thread about issues i have with my vs , namely car konking out periodically while driving , no warning nothing just konks and all dash lights come on , stop restart and all is fine , but ,radio has to be reset etc , mate recons plug in to back of ignition barrell could be loose , i see four holes for screws to take the bottom panel on the steering column of , the one under the steering wheel , is that all there is to getting it off ? , i dont wanna bust it, ta .................

Hi again , just been to wreckers to get a few spare fuses/relays ,and told him of my troubles , he reckons possible bad earth or more likely key battery on the way out and immobilizing car temporarily ,he could be on the money , ill have a look latter ,are they like a watch barrery?, and how much ?, ta..........
