Hey all,
My name is Matt and I'm 17 and getting my P's in a few weeks.
Just bought me first car which is a VS '97. Dark green, very neat, very few scratches and only done 97,000km. Cost me $4,800 with 6mnths free rego.
To-Do List (in order) :
- Fix sagging engine mount
- Get car detailed by the dad.
- 2.5inch redback exhaust with stainless steel tips
- blue or green neon/led lights under passenger and driver leg space & under front seats (maybe boot too)
- blue or green led spotter headlights
- blue dashboard backlight (maybe)
- Speaker upgrade, around 120watt speakers on doors would be good
- cheap subwoofer in boot
- 17inch VY SS rims & tyres
Now I have to start crapping money... lol
I'll upload some pics and let me know what ya think, also if any one can help me out with the cost of the things i'm hoping on doing that'd be a great help

Gratz on the wheels.
Few things though, get the engine mount fixed quickly as it will only cause more damage in the future.
The under seat and boot neons look sick, put mine in the other day.
Don't be too cheap with a subwoofer, it will just sound crap, pay the extra $ and get sumthing decent, you can always take it with you when/if you sell.
Hey mate, first off wrong section. Shoulda posted it in the "My Ride" "VS" section. Pics would be good mate, i also agree on getting a better sub. Go for something decent with a amp to match the power the sub will be putting out and i shud sound sweet. Pics would be good. Cheers

You have a pussy, i have a dick, so whats the problem? Lets do it quick!!
ow sorry for the wrong section =( . newbie lol. Ow I'm also getting the whole car cut and polished for free (they supply the stuff and I use it). Also i think i may be getting green neons instead of blue due to the dark green car? and the exhaust will be the top of my list though
Welcome Matt
