shaving laws in w.a

hey guys just wondering about the shaving laws in perth w.a this mite be under the wrong forum but oh well ive just shaved my statesman emblem on the front and tomorrow im shaving the aerial and side indicators

pretty sure you will need to have some sort of side indicator, you could probably go with a set of those aftermarket side mirrors with the indicator on them.

yes now my mate brought that to my attention i reckon they would look way better and he reckons bmw ones can fit onto commodores now i dunno what he was smoking but do u think this is true ? and how much do u reckon for the after market mirrors

don't think they'll care if you shave your emblem or aerial, but as mentioned you might have to have some sort of side indicator

yeah thanx the second link was real good not to keen on the space age carbon fibre ones haha only probley is the mirrors on my statesman now are square and those black ones you showed me are round do you think they will look any good ?

older moldel cars came without them so i dont see why you couldnt?

Old cars came without airbags, doesn't mean you can remove them legally from your brand new VE. Same deal here. Newer cars have to adhere to newer laws.

vn commodores dont have side indicators, do you think it would be a problem if vs's didn't? usually they only check back and front indicators

yes, it would be a problem. adr's changed just as the vp was being built, to require side indicators. so if the car came with them, they must retain side indicators. if you can find the adr sheet on indicators(dont feel like looking it up right now), it has specifications on location and viewing angles and such.
