Default Changing light bulbs in dash?

Hey can anyone tell me how to change light bulbs in dash under the auto gear shift to make them light up again? i checked the fuses nothin blown there so i guessed it would be some sort of litle light bulb. its in a vs ss by teh way.

Also are fog light bulbs hard to change in a vs ss?

    cheers

mines manual so dont have any tranny lights, however im assuming its the same as the exec, my previous car was an VS exec, the light under the tranny shift its a little blub u can get to by simply removing the ash tray and popping off the cover (you may have to disconnect the lighter), remove the drive letter cover and under than you will see a little blub.

Not sure about the foggies, havent had to change mine.

It isnt all that tricky, if you get stuck get in touch with me and ill put some pics up with instructions. Basically u open the ash tray and pull it and it will come out. You can then lift the console bit, you should be able to see where you need to remove wires and screws. Just play you will find it easy, good luck

T5 bulb, grab the head with pliers, it is pretty tight just don't squeeze so hard you break the glass.

Btw there is a complete guide on how to change every interior bulb on the vs. And btw this thread is 6 years old.
