window wiper arms
any chance that you can update the wiper arms on a VS? mine are all kinda yuk and have a bad rust type film on them... I was thinking of sanding them down and spraying the original ones again but have done this too many times the paint just fades away...
I was considering purchasing a set of VY ones but not too sure if they will fit..? Any ideas..?
well they just unbolt and screw off so i cant see why not.
you can also replace them with ve style slimline ones. Bosch make them there called aero twins click straight into the original ones.

How are you painting them? Are you putting primer on them for just repainting them? I painted mine when I got the car as the paint was all faded and chipping/peeling off... gave it a light sand to smooth it all out, hit it with a couple coats of etch primer, a couple coats of satin black, and then a coat of clear (all spray tin paints)... no fading, no dramas at all... they still look like new
yea the whole arm... didnt put primer on them, good idea thanks for the advice.
