    Welcome to the forums.

Your going to have to get a little bit more info for us to help you out though. The radiator doesn't really "do" anything. It's pretty much just something that sits at the front of the engine bay, the engine heats the coolant, and the coolant is passed through the radiator. The metal fins transfer the temperature of the cooler air that passes through it to the coolant. Really the only thing that can go wrong with a radiator is a leakage somewhere. So I doubt it's your radiator. To answer your question though, I bought a brand new radiator from eBay for $130 and fitted it myself.

When you say "heats up too quick", do you mean when you read the temperature guage, or when you put your hand on it?

No, your radiator leaking won't really have an effect on temperature. I'd be looking at the thermostat. Also where does it sit on the temperatur guage and how fast does it get there?

My personal advice for what it's worth is ....don't buy a car with known problems if you have no mechanical knowledge. You will be so browned off with the car breaking down continually that you will hate cars period. Plenty of good cheap ones out there. Good Luck.
