car wont turn over but starter motor clicks, battery is charged terminals are tight, was working awhile ago but has been sitting for a month or 2.....do i need to replace the starter motor?
are you sure the battery is charged? maybe sitting so long drained it then killed it so as soon as you turn the key it takes all the power out of it?thats what it sounds like if the starter clicks
not the battery, replaced with brand new battery. the starter motor just clicks once......
Check the starter motor connections to make sure they haven't corroded. Check the voltage at the starter motor to make sure the current is getting through.
As above and make sure the nut on the starter solenoid (at the end of the battery cable) is not loose.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
the starter was bugged got a new one there but now the dashlights flash on and off when i turn it over i think its my fusable links ?
