vr series 2 start month

just a quick question, dose any one know when the series 2 vrs started, im thinking september but would like to be sure


just looked here: how to check your vin

and found 95 not listed, but my sedan is a 95 which has the S code in it which must mean its a 95

(im buying a 94 wagon but wondered when it turned to 95 thats all)

so i got a bonus a series 2

yeah mate september it was for the series 2 VR,
should tell ya exactly on the compliance build plate what month/year its
was made,
Same problem 95 not listed as VR, but i have a March/95 VR calais.

someone also told me regarding the auto vr v6 series 2 boxes have drive 1 2 3

where as the series 1 auto boxes have drive 1 2

can anybody confirm that ?

There all 4 speed autos VN onwards......

Keep in mind with the year code, that is doesn't work Jan 1st to Dec 31st, its in September i think....

There classed as [1] [2] [Drive] [Overdrive] if that helps?
