brake upgrades for VS

I'm planing on getting the PBR performance brake upgrade kit for my VS SS but it costs $3000 and while I'm more than happy to pay that provided I'm getting what I'm paying for. I'd just like to know if there are better/cheaper brakes or this is a good buy?

you can get the VE brake kit to suit the VR/VS for a third of that price.

And the VT for less than the VE. The VE setup is probably the one to go for though.

A cheaper option you may want to consider would be to try some slotted rotors and performance pads.
