Vs 5.0L Mods HELP!!

hey i have a Nice Black manual 5.0L Vs ute which i have just bought and was just after a few ideas on easy modifcations that can be done to give it that lil bit more. cheers

First i would give it a thorough service, you never know how the last owner has looked after it and then definetly cold air intake, exhaust upgrade and memcal upgrade to add some more horses.

Yeah well i have allready done half service on it but its going in during the week to have plugs changed oil change and shit like that and yeah its actually getting exhaust redone tomoz. It has pacemaker extractors into 3 inch pipe straight through, the first muffler is cracked so its leaking air so im having the hole thing rebuilt tomo from the CAT back. so should be good.... wat sort of memcal would i be after and wats prices like for that and cold air intake.

You can buy hsv style cold air intake kits off ebay but i made my own to go down through the guard in the bottom of the airbox to behind the bumper and as for the memcal search for greenfoam on here or see him on ebay (nicefrog) he does custom memcal tunes for around $80 plus changeover and really knows his stuff, busy man tho.

Also have a look around the My Ride section, there are a fair few improved 5 litre's there too.

a decent air filter would work a treat as well im still yet to get one but everyone is telling me to get one lol but thye are like 100 for a good one and yeah cold air intake!

Maybe a set of diff gears and 70mm throttle body?
