    Default Quick Exhaust Question.

Hey guys just a quick question, my m8 is comparing his VS V6 ute which is pretty much the same as mine. He is looking at the exhausts which are pretty much the same except i have a hotdog on the rear and he just has straight pipe. Both have centre mufflers and are 2.5inch.

Now both cars have drone at a certain revs as you would expect for a V6 that wants a bit of noise but he seems to be saying that his is better then mine in aspects of drone.

I have tried to tell him otherwise but nothing will budge him. Can i have some opinions from a few guys on here about a exhaust with and without a hotdog, which would be better and drone less?

    Thanks Guys
    Matt.

the hotdog setup drones less, ive had both setups atm ive got the straight pipe, but the hotdog did reduce drone

Also just to rub it in i am guessing that unless you keep a V6 exhaust stock that any adjustment will most likely result in drone at a certain revs, depending on mufflers/resonators/hotdogs etc?
