vr transmission codes

hi

have found vin code help on the site but couldnt find anything definate with transmission codes

my feb 94 vr wagon has m30 transmission code on the compliance plate
is that a 4speed auto 4L60E , is that the same as the 4hdd auto

can you bolt up an ecotec to the 4L60E transmission are they 13 pins as well

engine code is lg2 which i guess is the standard vr buick
