!!replacing idler pulley??

hey guys
i bought a new idler pulley for my vr v6 and was just wondering how to install it.
do i just unscrew the nut thats holding the thing on? or will the whole belt just fall off?

gotta take the belt off first then undo the pulley n replace, make sure u remember how the belt goes might have to write it down
