Fattest Stock rims to fit VS

Hi I am wondering if someone can tell me what is the widest low profile stock rims that would fit on a stock VS with no mods to fit them. I see some of the SIGS are quite fat but not sure the largest tyre that will fit without modding suspensions etc

Something tells me 17/18" with 225 or 245 does that sound about right?

I wouldn't be going beyond an 8 inch wide rim. There are other people here who have fitted bigger wheel's though.

Are any of the stock holden rims such as the VX SS rims 8 inch wide and would have have any probs with these scraping in the wheel arch?

Pretty much I want to fit the fattest stock holden rims with low profiles on my stock VS with no mods without the scraping.

yeah heaps of holden rims are 8", i had vy ss rims on 2 different vs's for ages, they fitted fine, never had any trouble
