you can adjust your camber slightly so it clears the front shock, then it will be fine. Ive ran 245's on the front of vr and vs for a long time with no problems.

is it rubbing cause of the offset of the vx gts rims?? there genuine rims too, tyres need replacing soon anyway, thinking i should just get sum 235's for the front and 245's for rear, that should fix the problem yer??

offset should be fine i think, you can run 245's you just need to adjust the front camber, get a wheel alignment done when you get new tyres and all will be sweet.

If they are original 19" wheels they will be a +48 offset. Generally aftermarket wheels are a +45 offset. I know it's only 3mm...but its 3mm further away from the shock. Check your load rating on your tyre placard, if the minimum load rating is <=91 then you should switch to 235/35R19's all round.

My VS SS has VE SSV wheels on it 245/35/19 with lovels eliminator suspension and super low springs all round.

wheels don't scrub out or rub on anything even with a full car load

you will probably find your camber is out and needs adjusting so it doesnt wear out the inner edges. A wheel alignment will tell you if thats the case.

Usually run 245's on the back, 235's on rear. But going to run 235's all around on my next tyre change (getting Nankang NS2 18")

Ive got 17's here with 235/45 all round which makes sense for ease of swapping tyres around for different wear patterns, they also have the rim saving lip which would almost be the equivalent of 245's and it clears the front strut by like 2mm and it will occasionally scrub on the back with a load whilst going to quick around corners

Yes rear camber is bad and will cause terrible tyre wear, id recommend getting a 4 point camber kit whilst you still have usable tread left on your rear tyres.
